IT WAS a head-to-head battle for Sunday's Endmoor 10 Road Race with North Fylde AC's Steve Littler beating Paul Muller of Horwich by 13 seconds in the cool, favourable conditions.
A six-minute gap followed to third-placed Michael Weeks (Unattached).
Richard Witt was the first Kendal AC finisher in eighth place in 1-5-16 with Kevin Towers and Alan Miller in 10th and 11th counting for the club to take the men's team award.
Kath Drake of Spenborough won the women's race in 1-9-50 in 19th overall, although Christine Handforth was only 15 seconds adrift in next place and led Kendal to the women's team award with Lucy Varney and Paula Holland also counting.
