AROUND 100 sub postmasters from Cumbria and North Lancashire are planning to lobby MPs, delegates and Prime Minister Tony Blair at the Labour Party conference in Blackpool on Tuesday over the plight of rural sub post offices.
Martyn Blenkharn, Cumbria branch secretary of the National Federation of Sub Postmasters, said members wanted to stress that support promised by the Government following a protest march in London in 2000 was not being implemented fast enough.
