Mobile 'phone users are being urged to pack up their old machines and post them off to raise money for disability charity Scope.
Each phone is worth £3.50 to the charity, which has teamed up with catalogue shop Argos in an effort to collect redundant mobiles.
Postage-paid envelopes are now available at all Argos outlets in the country so that phones can be sent to Scope for the reclamation of materials such as magnesium, nickel and cadmium.
