A book which celebrates the men and women who have helped shape Cumbria is to be published later this year.
Biographers are compiling Who's Who in Cumbria 2002 and entry onto its pages is by selection only.
Who's Who Publications has decided to celebrate professional success and prominence at a regional level with a launch of the a 'Counties' series.
" Who's Who in Cumbria 2002 is among the first of the books to be compiled, reflecting the publishers' high regard for the county and its achievements," said Robert Leonard, of Who's Who Publications Ltd.
"The county's success is a story of personal achievements.
Who's Who in Cumbria celebrates the men and women who have, by excelling in their respective fields through hard work and dedication, helped to make the county what it is today."
