AN OPEN day to raise awareness about organic farming is to be held at the Rheged Discovery Centre, near Penrith, on Sunday, October 13.
Cumbria Organic Gardeners and Farmers and Cumbria Organic are joining forces to host the Go Organic day offering workshops and information on organic production methods.
Stalls selling books as well as local organic produce will also be at the event between 10.30am and 4pm and entrance is free.
