STORYTELLERS and musicians are being sought to breathe new life into the monthly fairs held in Broughton-in-Furness.
The country fairs, held on the second Sunday of every month, were launched in Broughton last July to aid the village's recovery from foot-and-mouth.
Organiser Mary Jardine said they had proved successful, as they had attracted more visitors to the village.
She said the fairs had also given stallholders an outlet to sell their goods.
As the fairs have been running for more than a year Mrs Jardine is trying to attract storytellers and musicians to the autumn fair on Sunday to entice more visitors.
She said: "I would love to hear from anyone who would like to perform at the fair on Sunday or ones in the future as I thought it might just add something new for visitors."
The autumn fair in the Victory Hall starts at 10.45am to 4pm.
