A BLEND of biting comedy and tunes from Tennessee will have people falling off their perches in Morecambe this month.
Grouchy, dead pan, comic genius Rich Hall (pictured), a top-class act who has appeared on Have I Got News For You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Friday Night With Jonathon Ross and Jack Dee's Sunday Service, will perform at the Platform in Morecambe on Friday, January 24.
Looking like a Pearl Jam roadie he is on tour playing the part of Character Otis Lee Crenshaw - a red-neck jailbird from Tennessee who has been married seven times, to women all named Brenda.
Singer-songwriter Otis likes bourbon-soaked Tom Waitsian tunes and banter, producing a perfect fusion of music and comedy
Otis Lee has been charming sell-out audiences at the Edinburgh Festival, London's Comedy Store and on tour in the UK and Australia.
Quick-witted and charismatic Rich is a master of the absurd who likes to lay into life across the pond at every opportunity.
