A KENDAL nursery school was forced to shut on Monday after a broken heater flooded a classroom. Heron Hill School's early years co-ordinator discovered soggy carpets and damp furniture in the nursery classroom on Sunday caused by a leaking heater. The incident prompted the school to contact parents of the 52 children who would normally attend the nursery and cancel Monday's session while a plumber fixed the problem.
