Farsley Celtic 0, Kendal Town 1
Jamie Close boosted Kendal back into the play-off places in the UniBond League First Division and himself into eighth place in the divisional list of top scorers.
His 60th minute goal was enough to sink Farsley Celtic and extend Town's unbeaten run to nine games.
Tomorrow night Town are at home, kick-off 7.45pm, in a Marsden Lancashire Junior Cup quarter-final clash with Clitheroe.
Should Town win it will be their first appearance in the Lancashire Junior Cup semi-finals for 21 years.
