THE biggest Goth and cyber event in the North West is set to take place in Morecambe at the end of February.
The Goth Festival organised by local group The Arcane, will be staged at various venues in the town including the Dome, The Platform and the Carleton and hopes to build on the success of the two previous Dance of the Vampire' events.
The event will be headlined by the biggest Goth band in Europe, Norwegians Apoptygma Berzerk and there will be a big supporting line up of Manuskript, Inertia, Swarf, Projekt plus Star Industry from Belgium and Two Witches from Finland.
In addition to the music there will be a black market of 40 plus stalls selling all things gothic from clothes and boots to CDs, artwork, jewellery and accessories which will be open to the public at the Platform on the Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
Other events include a weird and wonderful fashion show by talented North West designers, The Rubber Peacock in aid of Derian House.
Half of the tickets are already sold and the organisers are expecting up to 950 fans of the dark side to come to Morecambe from across the globe.
