A KENDAL woman has taken over a key role at a Lancaster business.
Former newspaper editor Anne Rothwell, 43, of Beck Foot, Lowgill, is the new marketing and operations Manager at Castle Hill-based marketing consultancy Charter Solutions.
Anne, a former pupil of Lancaster Girls' Grammar School, will head up the firm's support team as well as leading the company's public relations, marketing and communications personnel.
In the past, Anne, a journalist for 24 years, has worked on and edited several newspapers in the Lancaster and Preston area.
She said: "The new role is really challenging but I am working with some great people at a company with a proven track record in marketing and business expansion."
Anne is married to Steve, a police officer in Lancaster.
Rapidly expanding Charter Solutions has just moved to new premises a converted Georgian town house - in the shadows of Lancaster Castle and is recruiting new staff.
