ACCOUSTIC live wires could do worse than take a trip down to Kendal pub Dickie Doodles on a Sunday night.

This is the second live music jam night to be spawned at the town centre venue and comes on the back of the runaway success of Gerry Gillard's existing Tuesday night jam slot.

Like the Tuesday night fixture, the vibe is relaxed but, on Sunday, music will be pure acoustic and coupled with a laid-back weekend audience.

Doodles' managers say the new acoustic night is beginning to pick up steam after a quiet start a couple of weeks back. So pop down with your instrument of choice and have a go.
