KENDAL Rinteln Association has welcomed the possibility that the town might take another twin'.
"Rinteln is twinned with a town in Poland, although Kendal is its more equal twin'," explained chairman of the Rinteln Association Janette Dixon, who added that the Kendal-Rinteln links were mainly sporting, social and cultural though they were not ruling out commercial links at some stage in the future.
"We welcome the possibility of Kendal having another link, but we would not want to get involved ourselves we have enough to do!" said Mrs Dixon.
Rinteln Association members would be open, friendly and helpful, she promised and might be able to offer any new group the benefit of their experience.
