FIREFIGHTERS from Grange-over-Sands and Kendal used specialist cutting equipment to free a man from his car after crash in Grange-over-Sands on Sunday night, February 9. The 44-year-old man from Lockerbie, Scotland, was the driver of a Peugeot 206 involved in a crash with a Peugeot 306 driven by a 20-year-old Grange man at around 10.30pm on Main Street. The trapped man was taken to Furness General Hospital with neck injuries. Neither man gave police permission to release their names.
