James Taylor has been around for decades but is still utilising his rich and resonant voice to produce beautiful albums.

October Road opens with September Grass, a gentle song dripping with nostalgia and a track which would not of been out of place on 1970's classic Sweet Baby James album.

Acoustic guitar and close harmonies on other tracks help make this album relaxing and easy on the ear.

That might sound bland but October Road is not that just full of fine songs from an artist who has rightly been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriter's Hall of Fame.
