After working alongside two local historians, who collected personal histories from residents involved with Carnforth station during the steam rail days, Helen Burrows has created a photographic collection entitled Carnforth Oral History Project. "The photographs provide a portrait of each of the people interviewed and show something of the emotions evoked during the process of talking about and recording their memories," said Helen Burrow. The exhibition is being shown at Folly Art Gallery, Lancaster, until March 8. For more information, call 01524-388550.
