A NEW Young Farmers Club competition has been won by Grayrigg YFC.
The Call My Bluff competition proved highly entertaining on its very first outing with six teams from the county taking part in the game where teams try to pull the wool over the
eyes of their opponents by making them choose between rival definitions of obscure words.
Clubs from South Lakeland did particularly well with Grayrigg taking first prize and Crook taking second. Eden Valley came fifth behind Drigg B and Longtown.
Meanwhile, Sally Pritt from Drigg YFC won the trophy for Junior Member of the Year. Roger Alty from Kent Estuary came second.
The pair will now compete against the winners of
other counties' at the Northern Area Field Day on June 14.
