ONE of the UK's best acoustic blues musicians is on a whistle stop tour of the Lakes.
Peter Price, who has received recognition following appearances at various venues throughout the British Isles and Europe, will play two gigs in South Lakeland next week.
A blues performer with a mastery of Classic Country and Deltas Blues styles as well as Ragtime and Jazz, his work straddles genres.
Coming from a musical family, by his teens he was a competent ukulele, mandolin and tin whistle player. Soon afterwards he became drawn to the acoustic guitar. Today he is a familiar face on the festivals circuit both in the UK and abroad.
Peter Price will play at The High Cross, Broughton, Friday, April 18 and Sunday, April 20, and at The Eagle and Child, Staveley, on Saturday, April 19.
