SING a New Song is the rather poetic title of the next Pro Nobis Singers concert performed at Kendal Parish Church tomorrow (Saturday, 7.30pm).
Conductor Clive Walkley is particularly excited about the event because it stars the Thomas Tallis compositional tour-de-force and 40-part motet Spem in alium, as well as choral settings of psalm texts by Charpentier, Aaron Copland, Holst, Arvo Part, Parry, Purcell, Howells, John Sanders, and Herbert Sumsion's anthem They that go down to the sea in ships. Tickets £6 / concessions £5.
