This is Placebo's fourth foray into the album charts and follows the previous release Black Market Street' with an inaudable plonk. The one saving grace about this album is the single Bitter End', although if I was Grace I don't think that I would like to be saved to hear the rest
of it. Placebo's urge to try and be different has fallen flat on it's face yet again and the heady days of Nancy Boy' and Pure Morning' are well and truly in the past. Don't get me wrong, there are bound to be people out there that like it, and the title track has definitely got something about it, the only problem is trying to find it. Molko's lyrics are flat, dour and lifeless enough to just about suit the indie/goth element out there, but if you are after something that different try spending a night at Chingle Hall. It's a lot less scary and has more life about it!
