THE Government has announced a free postal service for personnel in the Gulf.
The service, which began Thursday (April 17), is aimed to help cut costs for close family and friends who regularly send mail to relatives participating in the conflict.
Under the scheme letters and parcels weighing up to two kilogrammes can be sent for free. The Ministry of Defence stressed that the new system was not a general service for welfare parcels.
