Looking for something to do over the May Bank Holiday Weekend? Then stop loafing' around and get down to The Lake District Visitor Centre, Brockhole for some Ecotastic fun.
The highlight of the Ecotastic weekend will be the launch of a brand new walk, centred around the visitor centre and aimed particularly at children. Sponsored by Warburtons, Britain's favourite baker, leaflets for the new walk have been developed by local author and illustrator Colin Shelbourn who will be running childrens' cartoon workshops during Ecotastic.
There will also be badge making workshops, games and quizzes, displays by local food producers and activities to make sure everyone in the family has fun.
Warburtons will be helping to keep the hunger pangs at bay by handing out samples of bread from their delicious Healthy and Organic ranges as well as a number of spot prizes to competition winners throughout the day.
They will also be selling goody bags, the proceeds of which will go to the Lake District Tourism and Conservation Partnership.
To mark their support for Ecotastic, which has been organised by the Lake District National Park Authority with assistance from the Lake District Tourism and Conservation Partnership, Warburtons is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a year's supply of bread.
