MADE in Cumbria, the economic development initiative promoting crafts, giftware and speciality foods, has just celebrated a special milestone.
For the first time in its 14-year history, Made in Cumbria's active membership has passed the 500 mark. More than 100 of those members are food producers.
Made in Cumbria was set up in 1989 to provide support and development for the relatively large craft sector within the county's economy, and started supporting food producers in 1998.
