NATIONAL leukaemia charity The Anthony Nolan Trust is searching for people to take part in a bid to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, an extinct volcano in Tanzania, next year.
In the past two years supporters have raised more than £250,000 for the charity by taking up this challenge, and people are now signing up for the next climb in February 2004. Reaching the 5,895-metre, permanently snow-capped summit will help to raise funds to provide bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants for thousands of people facing a difficult challenge of their own.
