QUEEN Elizabeth School drama students join the fun at Keswick's Theatre by the Lake next week as part of the National Theatre's Shell Connections youth theatre showcase.
Under the direction of the Kirkby Lonsdale school's head of theatre arts Liz Dale, the young performers stage Brokenville, by Philip Ridley, during the opening performances of the five-night festival running from Tuesday, April 29 until May 3.
The QES production involves six students aged between 13-18 years plus a ten year-old pupil from St Mary's School.
Among the other groups performing at Keswick are Trish Gordon's Brewery Youth Theatre, from Kendal, and Barrow's St Bernard's School, directed by drama teacher Dennis Toye.
Tickets available from the theatre box office on 017687-74411.
