CORAL Davies picks up the baton for Ambleside and District Choral Society for the final time on Saturday, May 3 (7.30pm), in performances of Faure's Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine, plus works by Mozart, Franck and Vivaldi.
After five years as the society's conductor, Coral has decided to move on and pursue other musical avenues. However, not before she directs the next concert at Ambleside Parish Church with soloists, soprano, Karenna Caun; contralto, Wendy Sharrock; and bass, Nigel Waugh, as well as Michael Oliver on organ.
