EACH Saturday at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, children meet to get those creative juices flowing.
Kicking off at 10.45am, they check out the Kendal art gallery and adjacent Museum of Lakeland Life for artistic inspiration, then, bursting with ideas, they hit the education room to bring their own creations to life.
Last term's influences included The Enduring Image exhibition, and the gallery's collection of still life painting, as well as the museum's Costume through the Ages and A Cumbrian Feast exhibitions.
The colourful results featured in a display of artwork by the enthusiastic youngsters at Kendal Library.
For more information on the gallery's Saturday Club call Frances on 01539-722464.
