SIR, I wonder if any of your readers are able to help in trying to trace a member of the Jenkinson family from the Patterdale area at Ullswater. I have come up against a brick wall. William Jenkinson was married to a Charlotte Robinson and was living in Glenridding in 1901. They had four children Florence, Annie, Amy Hilda, John William and Tom Alexander, who died in 1900. They seemed to have moved from the valley shortly after 1901. If anybody can help, could they contact me at the address below or on 01228-523923.
