CUMBRIA Wildlife Trust's recycling tour will take to the road for another year after securing a £10,000 grant.
The grant from the Hanson Environment Fund which redistributes landfill tax money generated by the company to conservation and environmental projects will go towards the trust's Greenscheme project - an educational initiative that aims to promote recycling, encourage sustainable waste management and look at the impact of waste on the environment.
Senior education officer for Cumbria Wildlife Trust Rachel Osborn said: "This award will enable us to encourage more young people in developing their appreciation and ownership of their environment."
