KENDAL Town's captain skipper and central defender Richard Close collected the Committee and Supporters' Player of the Year awards at the club's presentation evening.
Right back Lee Pennington took the Players' Player award for the second year in succession.
The leading goalscorer award went to Richard's twin brother, Jamie Close, who netted 16 times during the season.
The Clubman Award, which usually goes to a committee member for efforts on the club's behalf, was unusually given to player- manager Peter Smith, who masterminded the club's phenomenal turn around in fortunes on the pitch.
Town finished 12th in the First Division and beat top Premier Division sides Barrow and Accrington Stanley on their way to the final of the Marsden Lancashire Junior Cup
Kendal Town Reserves also had a marvellous year easily winning Division Two of the Westmorland league and beating First Division side Appleby in the Westmorland Senior Cup.
The top goalscorer's award was picked up by Kevin Pickering, while Dan Newby won most improved player award.
Gary Major took the player of the year award.
Kendal Town and Cumberland Cricket club have joined forces for a Sportman's Evening at The Park nightclub on Friday, May 29.
Guest speaker will be Eric Harrison, the former Manchester United youth coach, who has overseen the careers of top-class internationals, including David Beckham. An auction of sports memorabilia wil lalso be held.
