MILLIONS of television viewers may have caught a glimpse of Kendal man, Andy Owen, on Saturday night after he was featured on hit television BBC1 television show, I'd Do Anything. The professional mountain guide and experienced walker rubbed shoulders with presenter Ian Wright, during filming in La Grave, in the French Alps, in January. Andy and climbing guide Chris Ensoll, of Coniston, were employed in a professional capacity to supervise the safety of the camera crews, contestants and hosts, as the challenge took place. The show, in which members of the public face their worst fears to win prizes, featured a woman taking part in parapointing, which combines skiing with paragliding. Andy, 35, a father-of-two, said: "As a piece of work, it was very pleasant and Ian was great, he was enjoyable company."
