ULVERSTON Heritage Centre's new home could be featured on national television next month as committee members dig deep in hopes of unearthing some historical artefacts.
Channel 4's Time Team will host Britain's largest ever mass archaeological dig on June 28 and 29.
Thousands of groups around the country are expected to take part and the ones that come up with the most unusual finds will be featured on television.
The Ulverston Heritage Centre moved to the Sir John Barrow Cottage late last summer and opened to the public at Easter.
