VERDICTS were delivered on tipples to suit all tastes at the Kendal Wine Club Annual Show.
There was a total number of 196 entries at the show, held at Kendal Town Hall, which was down on previous years, but said to be a sign of the times.
Judges described it as a very enjoyable show with some
excellent wines, beers and food.
Ray Wightman scooped the shield for the most points in show, winning first place for his aperitif, dry white, citrus, sweet red wines and beers.
