THE KENDAL Alpine Ski Clubs Race Squad returned successful from the English Alpine Championship in Puy-St-Vincent in France and are now preparing for a summer season of artificial snow championships.
The squad which includes youngsters from Upper Eden - competed with top international skiers and were against national squads.
Coach Stephen Edwards was "proud of their performance" and commented on how the months of dedication and training was beginning to pay off.
Particular success went to Jenny Mashiter, of Dallam School, who returned home with two silver and a bronze medal. And Senior Roger Greenback, who returned with a silver medal in his event.
