DETECTIVES from Cumbria have made five arrests in connection with the death
of Londoner John William Harvey, whose smouldering body was found near Killington Lake.
Officers have arrested four people from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, where Mr Harvey was last seen alive in a laundrette on April 22 three days before his body was found in a field between Kendal and Sedbergh.
They are a woman of 49, a 51-year-old man, a 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, all from Potters Bar. A 53-year-old man from the Westhoughton area of Greater Manchester was also arrested.
The four from Potters Bar were being questioned by Cumbrian officers at a Hertfordshire police station, while the man from the Bolton area was being questioned in Kendal.
