VISITORS to the 11th annual Holker Hall Garden Festival next weekend will see the results of a large amount of investment into the three-day event over the past year.
Lord and Lady Cavendish will be meeting visitors in the Holker Pavilion to talk more about this investment, which is a direct consequence of suggestions made by the public.
Joining the festival for the second year will be Clarrisa Dickson Wright and Kim Wilde, who will be creating a bespoke garden over the three days of the festival that begins on Friday, May 30.
There will also be a Made In Cumbria Food Hall with cookert demonstrations by celebrity chefs offering tempting treats for visitors to sample in the Garden Festival Restaurant.
The Little Seedlings Creche will watch over the little ones and there are Punch and Judy Shows, children's entertainers and special characters making guest appearances.
