FEELING naughty? Sweary, leary and just a little bit loud, up-and-coming punksters 4ft Fingers are soon to be playing in Kendal.
The group is set to appear at Ibis on June 13 courtesy of some enterprising Kendal music fans including Kendal College music student Dan Williams.
The 4ft Fingers recently signed to Golf Records, the UK home of punk bands including Less Than Jake and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
No strangers to the tour circuit, these boys have been doing the rounds for several years after hooking up when they were just school kids.
After signing up to Golf Records the group put together a new album. From Hero To Zero which was released on September 9, 2002, and a video was shot for release on Music TV.
Describing themselves as beer-skate-punk these clearly aren't a quartet of choir boys. Their songs have titles like Drunkenville, Busted and Confused and the lyrics? Erm expect plenty of colour.
But despite their harder than thou' image, The 4ft Fingers are no strangers to hard work - regularly putting in a 30-hour week practising and writing their little hearts out. Bless.
Other bands playing are Ali Bongo and the Meal Makers, Nana's Revenge and Out of Line.
Things start happening from 7pm and tickets cost £4.
