EVER heard of Haiku and wondered what it was all about? A workshop exploring the history, mechanics and writing of this most accessible form of poetry, which originated in Japan more than 300 years ago, is to take place at Lanternhouse, The Ellers, Ulverston, on Saturday, June 7. The workshop features Martin Lucas and Fred Schofield, of the British Haiku Society, and has been designed for all abilities and ages, from 12 years up.
