FOR the fourth time in six outings rain swept across the county to disrupt the John Smith's North Lancashire and Cumbria Cricket League.
Four games got a start out of the 11 scheduled fixtures, two in the Premier Division and two in the First Division, but none got remotely near a finish.

First Division: Appleby Eden 7-1 v BAE Systems SC (abandoned); Egremont v Dalton (no play); Keswick v Kirkby (no play); Carnforth 99-4 (Mohammed Azam 43no) v Penrith (abandoned); Ulverston v Carlisle ( no play).
