POLICE plan to crack down on juvenile disorder in Carnforth during this week's half-term break. Officers from North Lancashire will be mounting a campaign of high visibility policing in response to residents' concerns about anti-social behaviour in the town.
Operation Lima will put more officers on the town's streets day and night while operation Limassol targets Morecambe and Heysham as well.
Sergeant Dalvan Dawkins told a meeting of Carnforth Town Council this week: "Half-term is a time when youngsters have more time to veer off the straight and narrow and we need to nip it hard."
