A WESTMORLAND firm is one of only three Cumbrian businesses which are officially among the most dynamic and
go-ahead small to medium-sized enterprises in the UK.
WA Developments of Appleby, Cumbrian Seafoods of Maryport and Story Construction in Carlisle all figure in the Deloitte and Touche Indy 100.
WA Developments was 10th, Cumbrian Seafoods 45th and Story 66th in the annual survey of the 100 fastest-growing independent SMEs in the UK. To qualify for the Indy 100, businesses have to be independent, private sector, profitable in the last year and have an annual turnover of between £5 million and £100 million.
