THE blue blood of Reggae is playing tonight at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal (Friday, June 6).
Morgan Heritage are Jamaica's most influential band and are made up of five of the children of reggae star Denroy Morgan, a member of legendary reggae bands Mad Creators and Black Eagles.
Dubbed The Royal Family of Reggae', the group is set to open their UK tour at the Brewery Arts Centre.
The Morgan children were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where Denroy had relocated in 1961, but by 1995 the whole Morgan family relocated to Jamaica, which gave the children the opportunity to dig deeper into their musical and cultural roots.
The band arrives in Kendal fresh from a sell-out three-month tour across the USA.
