If the thought of being stuck indoors this Christmas is driving you crazy, why not escape with the Ramblers' Association's Festival of Winter Walks (December 26 to January 3).
With more than 400 walks taking place across England, Scotland and Wales, it's a great antidote to festive overindulgence - a chance to escape the TV schedules and walk off all that Christmas pudding.
The walks, led by Ramblers members, are free and open to everyone. Many are short and at an easy-going pace, suitable for all the family.
The festival is also the perfect opportunity to kick-start your New Year's resolution to get fit and healthy in 2006.
All who take part in a Festival walk and want to join the organisation will receive a 20% discount off membership. For full walks details please log onto our website at www.ramblers.org.uk/winterwalks.
