WITH festive spirit in the air and shopping time fast disappearing we have got some gifts that will sit perfectly under the Christmas tree.

The Citizen has teamed up with Scholastic books to offer five fantastic titles that will make fantastic bed time reading.

From tales about dogs and penguins wanting to fly to Aladdin and the enchanted lamp there is a book to cater for all ages ranging from four to 12 years old.

Horrible Christmas is taken form the Horrible Histories series and supplies all the facts every Horrible History reader wanted to know but were too full of mince pies to ask.

Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp is a vivid retelling of the story of Aladdin created especially for a new generation to enjoy.

Children of the Lamp offers an insight into what it would be like to vanish, turn yourself into an animal and grant wishes while The Best Dog in the World is the story of a young child in search of a dog of his own to find his dream come true on a visit to the rescue home.

For the younger readers The Penguin Who Wanted to Fly is a tale about Flip-Flop the penguin who tries his best to fly in a heart warming story.

The Citizen has got one copy of each book to give away.
