IF A new car is not an option for this year's Christmas present list, fear not, because the motor manufacturers have released a range of gifts and stocking fillers for car-mad friends, relatives and loved ones this year.
Ranging in scale from satellite navigation systems to key rings and mugs, there's something to suit every budget for December 25.
While car accessories are available from a variety of outlets across the region, marque specific toys, gadgets and gifts are in stock or available to order through local dealerships.
Though a car showroom may not seem the most obvious place to go Christmas shopping, Neil Worrall, dealer principal at Jeep and Chrysler dealership ES Hartley Ltd, of Ings, near Staveley, says there is actually a good selection of gifts available from wine sets to socks and jewellery.
"The Global Collection is a great place to begin Christmas shopping. It offers a surprising variety of gifts that would make perfect stocking fillers.
"Customers can drop into the showroom to see some of the range on display and take the opportunity to look at our fantastic Chrysler and Jeep vehicles."
This year, the present at the top of the Christmas tree to allow owners of older Vauxhall models to enjoy one of the newest in-car accessories is a reverse parking aid with sensors built into the rear number plate.
And route maps could become a thing of the past with a screen mounted TomTom satellite navigation system available through Vauxhall dealers as well as a range of branded VXR clothing, including a baseball cap, fleece and winter coat.
There is even something for music fans with a sun visor CD holder, a new set of speakers or the latest CD and MP3 player.
Children and big kids will be well catered for with the range of Renault toy cars, Scalextric and Meccano sets.
There is even an electric Renault F1 2005 children's racing car along with a selection of F1 team merchandise.
