AN ADVICE day for tourist accommodation providers is being held in the People's Hall, Sedbergh, on Thursday, November 24 from 10am to 5pm.
Experts will be on hand with advice and information on all aspects of running a B&B, guesthouse, small hotel, or self-catering accommodation.
The event, called EXPO 2005, has been organised in response to demand from local people who are interested in setting up new visitor accommodation businesses, both on farms and in the villages.
For existing businesses the event will provide an opportunity to test new ideas, keep up to date with legislation, and find ways of staying competitive.
The event is being run by Sedbergh Community Development Centre in conjunction with Sedbergh Booktown Ltd and Sedbergh Tourist Information Centre. For more information contact 015396-21031.
