MORECAMBE Football Club manager Jim Harvey is recovering in hospital after being rushed to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary with a heart attack.
The long-serving Christie Park boss collapsed shortly before Saturday's game with Cambridge United.
Mr Harvey, pictured, was thought to be about to give his team talk in the dressing room when he complained of chest pains.
The 47-year-old Ulsterman, who has been in charge of the Shrimps since 1994, was examined by club doctor Trevor Fleet, who immediately called an ambulance.
Mr Harvey is likely to be released from hospital at the end of the week but will not return to his managerial duties for at least three months, with the Conference club looking for a caretaker manager to fill the breach.
