JUST as Tony Blair is losing a grip on his party, Labour in Lanc-aster is showing every sign of reverting to an uncriticial loony lefti-ness in their support of the self-styled George Fox Six, whose protest at Lancaster University was held because they happen not to like multinational corpor-ations.
These are of course businesses from which most of us benefit, in terms of the quality of life we enjoy.
Where do these people think the medicines, food, clothes, cars and just about everything else we take for granted come from?
Protest is of course legitimate. But disrup-ting a serious business meeting that might have positive benefits for our local economy is not legitimate and this bunch deserve every-thing they get.
Here's a question for Labour in Lancaster; in supporting this mob, does it mean that you now disapprove of legitimate business?
Peter Pike, Lancaster.
