P WHY do some people seem to think that slagging off Lancaster City Council is the only way to achieve results?
The Musicians Co-op has done a tremendous job over the last 20 years for the music scene in the city, not only for young musicians but others as well.
This is acknowledged by all members of the council - and we all want to see it continue.
That is why we have insisted that a venue for the co-op must be included in any canal corridor development.
The way to achieve this is to talk to each other and establish how the co-op's needs can be met. I have asked for a meeting between members of all political parties on the council Cabinet and representatives of the co-op to do that.
Cllr Pat Quinton, Brookhouse.
