A TRAIN has derailed just outside Lancaster after hitting a landslide.
The Manchester Airport to Windermere train, which was carrying 130 people, left the rails just before 2pm between Galgate and Lancaster. A 50-year-old woman has been taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries. A Network Rail engineer at the scene said: "It is not clear exactly what happened . We believe the train may have run into a landslide."
